Default 2012 Audi A6 questions

So my wife and I got an Audi A6 about 3 weeks ago, and we are very much enjoying the car. Love it. There are a few questions that I was hoping some of you could help us out with, as I'm not very sure where else to get these answers. I don't remember seeing them in the user manual. We have an A6 Premium Plus. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

1. What does the fog light button do? I don't see the car with any fog lights, but I do notice that there is a fog light button. Is this the "rear fog light" button I've read about?

2. Is there a way to program the keys so that my wife's key automatically adjusts the seat position in memory 1, and my key automatically adjusts seat position in memory 2? Our BMW's do this, so I'm not sure if there is a way to do this with Audi.

3. Does the Audi remember heated seats settings? It seems to sometimes remember how the heated seats were set, sometimes it does not.

I was looking at a used 2012 A6 at a dealers lot. If the button in question is on the left side at the bottom, it is the rear fog light. It energizes the inner bank of lights on the trunk part of the tail light housing.

If anyone is interested in a Phantom Black Pearl A6 nougat/ash - prestige - innovation - 5500 miles - $55,000 asking price - PM me for the info.

The A6 Premium Plus has Xenon headlight that have a "bad weather" mode, activated by the upper fog light button. The lower fog light button activates the rear fog light.

If driver seat memory is enabled in the MMI then the car will remember the position of the driver seat when ignition is turned off. Each key also has two presets, accessible through the 2 buttons in the door.

Seat heating is remembered by each key individually, together with other AC/MMI settings.

Adding to audia4b6us's post; make sure you save your setting after ever minor tweek. For a while I couldn't figure how to keep my side assist on everytime I turned the car on. Once I saved my settings I was good to go.

Just looked at my 2012 A6 Prestige with the Xenon headlights (not LED's) - no "bad weather" mode button. Am I missing something or are the Prestige headlights different than a Premium Plus?

Sometimes I wish I could make sense out of what Audi is doing. You seem to be right, the button doesn't seem to be there.

This is a Premium Plus with Xenon, doesn't have the button:

LED seems to have it:

Couldn't find any photos of a Prestige without LED, not sure if that would make a difference. The Premium Plus has Audi xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights while the Prestige has Adaptive xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights (adaptive headlights pivot up to 15 degrees to allow you to see ahead in the dark by lighting up corners more effectively), so there is a difference.

I read about the "bad weather" mode in the German A6 C7 owners guide and assumed it would be the same for the US. Wrong assumption I suppose...

On my car, it only has a button for a rear tail light to be brighter for foggy conditions.

The "fog lights" on the LED headlight equipped models throw a much wider, but not any lower pattern. The LEDs are phenomenally good in snow and fog though.

The A6 Product info PDF posted at http://152.66.93.29/audi/download/au..._Info_Book.pdf confirms that this feature is not available in North America.

"The all-weather light function is not offered on North American market vehicles with bi-xenon headlights and AFS. The installation space for the ACC sensors is vacant so Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is available."

I guess we never have bad weather here.
