A really really crappy way to start your day. :(

Was driving up Kuykendahl in N. Houston on my way to work, about 50 mph. Driver in a Jetta (Wolfgang) took a left turn right in front of me, right through both lanes. I swerved hard right to avoid her and somehow managed to avoid a couple of painful looking polls and ended up smacking that fence. Then TT went boom
My guess is that curb ripped up the bottom something fierce (airbags deployed). Had I had a fire extinguisher I surely could have put the fire out when it was but a wee spark.
Ironically, my Prius car keys were on the key chain, so I couldn't drive that car either until getting it towed in and re-keyed.

So much for my brand new, just-installed convertible top.
I really think that turn would not have happened in my other car. At that speed, both of us might have been toast.
