Need your opinions Cabriolet owners
I regularly post in another section of this forum but I am hoping someone here can provide some advice/guidance. I currently own an A7 but am considering getting a second commuting car -I have a long commute and don't want to load the A7 with miles.
I came across a 2003 Audi Cabriolet 1.8T FWD Automatic trans, at the weekend. Its in really good shape body/interior wise - was just fully resprayed - and has 120K on the clock. Its had 2 previous owners, has good service records and the timing belt was changed recently also.
I would obviously get a mechanic to check it out (along with CarFax, service records etc.) - but am I crazy to buy an out-of-warranty audi with 120K miles on the clock?
What do i need to be mindful of or watch out for. I have never owned a convertible either - any potential issues here with older Cabriolets? I looked on the consumer reports and I could not really spot anything amiss with this year/model.
Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I attached a pic also.
Thanks,
C
