Looking to achieve the RS6 look
Morning guys
Thought I'd get some peoples views on some subttle mods I'm looking to make and was wondering if someone could throw some suggestions in the pot.
I've recently picked up a C5 2.5TDi Avant in Gun Metal Grey and love it to bits, however I cant help looking at an RS6 down the road thinking I love that aggresive styling. So heres the crack, I'm looking to do some subtle mod, I'm not going to dress something up to something its not, but I'd like a few parts like the RS6.
So what would be a few small mods I could do to achieve the aggresive look, chrome mirrors?? 18" RS6 alloys???

You don't have the wide body, so you can just do the grille, mirrors and wheels.
It's just better to improve the look as it suits your vehicle. Imitating another model's look, while some have done it, in my opinion destroys the natural beauty of your specific model, and frankly... is a bit cheesy.
If you want to improve the look of your car, get some nice 18" or even 19" wheels, lower the suspension with coil-overs, install h-sport sway bars and that's it. You will love it even more.

I agree with GTA_Driver (although I did a lot of RS6 stuff on my V8 A6...cheezy?). There are RS6-like kits for the narrow body out there, but they are not really quality components, and they truly look aftermarket when installed.
I think the most "visual" impact mods include wheels, tinted glass, and suspension (lowering a bit, but do't slam it!). The H-sport sways are by far the BEST bang-for-the-buck mod out there. Makes the car corner so much better. It was the first thing I did to my 4.2 when I bought it a few years back.

I have 2 perfect pieces of RS6 carbon fiber for ya' RS6 project...the shift surround and the hazard panel.
I also have a nearly whole set of Rs6 Plus blue weave carbon fiber too that I'm getting rid of. The walnut actually looks better than the CF in my silver/blue car.
PM me...it's all just collecting dust.

Since you do have a Narrow Body A6, that would be a tough order.

Lowering Springs/Coilovers
Euro License plate Tub (assuming you already have that though)
Wheels
Don't look at your bank statement for a while

Thanks for your thoughts guys. As I mentioned in my first post I wasnt looking to build an RS6 replica I just wanted to give my oil burner a little individuality. Here are my proposed list of tweaks:
18" Smoked RS6 wheels
Matt Chrome mirrors
Honey comb grill
Door blades
and a slight lowering
oh and of course a re-map
