ABS wheel speed sensor removal 1999 model, pre 060000 vin
I just replaced my ABS module, repaired by Module Master, very highly recommended. After installation, the amber ABS and red brake light aren't flashing, but just a steady amber ABS light remains. I have found it indicates the front left ABS wheel sensor is open.
I would like to unplug the harness for the sensor for that wheel and test resistance with a multimeter to confirm, but I have no idea where the wire leads. I know it travels through the upright, plugs into the brake pad wear sensor wire, and they travel together beyond the wheel well.
Does anyone know where the end is and where to unplug it? If I end up ordering a replacement sensor I will need to know this anyway.

I may call module master to see it if could be the repaired unit - as I recall, all 4 wheel sensors were fine before the ABS module failed.

The sensor and harness are one piece. Follow them to the rubber plug in the wheel well where they enter the car. Pop the plug out and gently tug of the plugs for the harness. There are two; one for ABS and one for the pad wear sensor.
