s6 suspension ?'s
My 2003 s6's suspension is getting worn. I live in downtown LA, the roads are horrible and I often fill the car with 450 lbs of photo gear for work.
I think I want Pss9's, but would the weight and potholes be murder??
The car has 18" factory RS6 wheels, I'd love for the car to be a touch lower.

That's kind of inconsistent with 450 lbs of gear.
You should probably RAISE the suspension somewhat and use koni sports rather than pss9s and go back to 17" or even 16" wheels. Our 2K4.2 was available with 16" wheels even though it came with HP2 front calipers.
Potholes and 18" wheels and 35-profile tires do not go well together.

i agree And i HAVE 16s on my S6. That said, if your issue is spring sag, or bottoming out, you need to do some math. Find out the spring rates and travel of various suspension setups, and multiply them say 600 lbs/in x 3.2" = 1920 lbs before bottoming. Static. Dynamic is abear to calculate but is proportional.
