well not the actual clutch but yes the bearing in the bracket/pulley that drives the viscous clutch/fan.

Maybe. I don't know the particular bracket/pulley/bearing you have, but I once did something similar to an OG900T saab a/c tensioner pulley/bracket. Drilled out the rivets, replaced the pulley for $4-5. The bracket is about $75 today...

bumping this back up, as it really needs to be replaced at this point. I've called a couple parts places and they couldn't even locate a part, but everyone who sells the clutch says it comes without the bearing.

ANy ideas?

What wrong with the one on the car currently?

Try "fan clutch pulley", I don't know if that's the technical name for it or not.. but it will get you a few hits.

it makes horrible dead bearing noises.

I've actually answered my own question to a degree, the bearing is usually sold as part of the bracket/mount. You can buy one new for 250$ but that is way more then I want spend to fix this problem. I'm trying to hunt down used parts.

get the actual p/n and google it.

Isn't the fan clutch mounted on the water pump shaft? Or is your fan turned by the serp belt?

Get a used one.

This is the first time I've crossed a post about that specific pulley/bracket going bad like that, so it may be one of those parts you can just replace for cheap.

I sent you a link via PM
$45 + free shipping

You can't beat that.

EDIT: But please double check your part number with theirs, I'm not affiliated with the seller in anyway, so I don't want you purchasing the wrong thing on a recommendation made by me on here.

I don't know if there's a difference in part #'s between the ATQ/AHA 2.8 motors, but it looks like the one on MY2001 with the ATQ.
