Instrument cluster pinouts
I have a 1999 A6 avant 2.8. The LCD display in my instrument cluster is pretty fried.
I ended up finding a used cluster from what looks to be an early 2000 model 2.8 avant. The cluster is actually labeled a 99.
I am hoping that I can just re-pin the red plug wiring into the grey plug, but am having a very tough time finding any pinouts in elsawin (I am not very computer savvy)
If anyone could provide me the pinouts for these part numbers, I would be very thankful.

I am not even sure if there are compatibility issues, but I would like to give it a whirl.

I always recommend that you stay with the same cluster year model, at the end it will cost you more then it is worth , if you just do it because of center LCD there are few companies that can fix it for you or if you handy can do it yourself..

I repinned everything, and it still didn't work quite right. (got an awesome deal on a cluster w/good LCD)
I am just going to swap out the LCDs.
