2000 2.7T A6 Front Rotor Replacmeent
My question is, what do I need to do to replace the rotors?
Do I need to remove the calipers, or can I replace the rotors with just the pads out and the calipers in place?
Thanks,
P.S. The car has the 4 pads per side, 8 total in front.

(140# and on the back of the hub, blocked by some fluid lines that must be moved, but i digress)
But i suspect that your vibration is NOT warped rotors. I suspect its pad deposits.
You might try a light sanding in place, if they measure well (face-face 28mm or more)
Its does not sounds like you have the tools or experience to measure run-out.
New rotors will certainly fix it either way.

I did have quite a 'lip' on the rotors the last time I did the pads. That is what lead me to the warped hypothesis.
Thanks again for the help.

Still, all this vibration on simple pedal-lift deceleration doesn't seem to me to be brake related. I could see it if you were using the brakes, but simply lifting shouldn't do this.
