I was involved in an accident yesterday, a guy flew out of a side street and hit me hard on the driver side, the worst possible place to get hit, my physical condition saved me,it could've been alot worse than having a sore back an a little stiff neck,the police gave him a citation and luckily he has insurance. I'm glad I'm fine, I just bought the car less than a month ago. Including 2 pix before the wreck and few after.

sorry to see that. some kid backed into my door and took off. i had to pay $500 for deductible.

 

Yesterday the insurance adjuster declared the car totaled, he told me he first was trying to see how much it would take to get it fixed due to the car was in excellent condition with low mileage, no damage to the engine, but the parts/airbags are very expensive to replace, so I'm getting a check from them in the next 2 days. I have been looking for a silver one to replace, no luck yet.

 

I found mine thru autotrader.com I it took a few months to finally get the TT I want. I wish I could get your car's driver side rails and antenna. Those are hard to come by.

 

I just bought this 2002 TT 225hp, 6-speed at a good price and the best thing is it was only 45 miles away, pure luck, I came home from lunch and decided to check the web for one, he just posted it for sale so I was the first to reply, I took some pictures, it was evening time when I got back home. There's a difference in power between my totaled 180hp and this one. Bottom line I'm happy I found one with the right color I wanted :-)

I thought the insurance company will give you first chance to buy your totaled car... Is it too late to call and find out, I guess in this case the adjuster to see how much they want for it? it does have lots of good parts. I forgot to mention that the hood released normal and you could start the engine.
