Can you still get the original arm bushings for "non-recalled" 2000 TT
We may be running the only one left on earth but we didn't send our 2000 TT in for the retrofit of the suspension/spoiler. We just didn't do it because personally we liked the way the car drove and didn't want the added understeer.
So now those factory bushings are worn out and squeaking like crazy and I'd like to replace them. I'm just not sure if I can trust the dealer or auto parts guy to get me the right bushings since the original arms we're recalled in the first 9 months if I remember correctly. My guess is that everyone has ones to fit the new arms which as I understand are slightly different.
Anyone else run into this problem and solved it?

Yes you can. Lots of us run the original bushings by installing sleeves in the post recall arms to make them fit. If I recall correctly the original front busing is the same as the still used rear control arm bushings thus still available.
