audi 90 cluster odometer stoped working
Hi. I recently needed to install a new ignition on my 94 audi 90 v6. Upon reinstalling the cluster my mileage calculator is not working on top or bottom.
Everything else the cluster works including speedometer/tach. I see no bent pins in the cables. I have never had an issue prior to this. Is there a procedure I am not familiar with when reinstalling a cluster?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

While I appreciate the sarchaism I have already searched for countless days. All of the archives speak of this issue stemming from a malfunctioning speedometer which I do not have.
IF you find the link you would be doing me and my 70yr old father an awesome audi favor.

Either you did not push the connectors on the cluster tight enough or you have a broken odometer gear. The way to fix the gear and the source for the parts are here: http://audi.humanspeakers.com/odometer.htm

My buddy at the dealership told me to drive it with no odometer.... not the answer I was looking for.
