95 90 Q 2.8 running rich?

95 90 Q 2.8 running rich?
Its been a while but I noticed my 95' 90 Quattro 2.8l running a little rough under load, Rich running, tail pipes are cartoned up no check engine light. Has a slightly hesitation when accelerate on Gas.
I want to say the Coolant Temp sensor to the ECU, Im not quite sure if this ecu picks that up as a code for this year. Its been backfiring when I let off the gas underload only.
Any ideas, has new plugs 4k miles ago, no oil leaks or coolant leaks,
