A lot of work to be done, any advice?
1- I have to replace my drive shaft since the carbon fiber section is falling apart inside and making my car sound like a train. Does anyone know can/how/ and where can I get the part to make it a single shaft from the trans to diff. I got a quote from the shop to remake my drive shaft portion out of steel for estimated $500-600.
2. My right rear control arm bushings are shot and make horrible squeaking noises that make my car sound like a bird chirping its head off.I know lago had advise on the rear bushing but Im not sure if i have the skills/tools to change them.
3. Trans oil is leaking slowly out of the shift linkage portion of my transmission.
4. front shocks are dying slowly, any good replacement brands?
5. CV boot is ripped.
Does anyone have any advice on these repairs or have experience them before.
oil leak... i just did all of my seals on the trans while i head it out, its a PITA, also be real careful with the shifter rod when pulling the seal, apparently its real soft metal.
shocks, i would recommend Bilstein, im running a pair in the front and loving them, head KYB's before, failed after about 4 years. Bilstein will make your suspension stiffer, so that's something to consider.

2. Best option is to bring the control arms to a machine shop to press out/in the bushings. Should cost like $30 per bush.
3. I would say that pulling the tranny to replace the seal is NOT(!!) worth it. You might be able to replace the seal from the interior though... Im not sure exactly.
4. Bilstien's are by far the best option, they are definetley worth the extra cash. I have run boge, koni and bilstiens, the billys are the best.
5. Inner or outer CV boot? Replacement is pretty straight forward, you may want to replace all suspension components/bushings as you already have to replace struts and cv boot(s).
if your boots are ripping, it might be time to get new axles, got my from AutoZone for about 70 buks each with life time warranty. A-arm bushings, allot of guys will burn them out, but most of the time, by now the bushings are so worn out that they will just fall out
2- I want to do Lago's poor man poly bushings, but I don't know how to take apart the rear suspension, and don't want to risk doing something wrong.
3- I don't know what seal it is for sure, I'll attach a picture of what section I'm referring to.
4- I'm definitely going with Bilstien. I got a pair of Monroe shocks for the rear although I was told mine rear shocks are fine.
5- Its the outside boot, I do it soon because I saw a write up on it somewhere.
Thanks for the help!
