20v (7A) intake / exhaust questions...
When I bought the car I immediately replaced the exhaust after the catalytic. The tech asked if I wanted the pre-muffler, but I was clueless, so I opted to go without, as I figured I could always add it later. Now that I almost have her back up to good running condition, I am wondering if the added backpressure would do her good.
I am planing on opening up the intake with the 034 stage 2, but that is likely to happen after injectors, 16" wheels, brake upgrade, ect. It might take a while to get there. I am considering buying a conical intake and fashioning a heat-shield to hold me over.
How much backpressure is proper? For almost stock intake, and stage 2 intake?
