90 cluster vs cabriolet cluster

Does anyone know if the cluster from the audi 90's will fit the cabriolets?

I don't believe the later cabriolets switched the instrument cluster but at least through 96 they are the same

yes if they are made by the same company
both can be made by vdo or un4
most likely vdo in the usa (only mid-late (96) cabriole was UN4)
un4 is very similar, but different (not interchangeable parts) and like narrower millage counter numbers, etc

I'm running one right now in my cabbie... Gotta fix the voltage regulator in my original one.

that's what i did..my cluster was a little wonky, the gas gauge worked occasionally and the temp gauge never worked....i bought a new resister from audi, but i couldn't secure it with the existing screw that was holding the original resister....i couldn't figure it out..being frustrated, i bought a used cluster and installed it. I now had a working gauges..YAY..but the km ticker doesn't work!
