Complete V8 drop out.

Guy on Craigslist relatively near me is selling a complete v8 drop out. It's still in the car and he's willing to include EVERYTHING you would need to do a swap.. I assume that means tranny too. Just thought I would post and let everyone know. I talked to him and I think he's looking to get around $3000 http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/pts/3626559536.html

I was going to do a similar thing...

I was gonna get a 3.6L V8, with everything included for 800$ other than engine mounts...

Not bad. I don't really know what the 4.2 goes for but I see a lot talk about so I just thought I'd share. But apparently this guys asking a bit much

yeah, ive just cn A8's for sale from 3k and up with a running engine, this swap has crossed my mind a few times
