What is instrument **** nearest fuel gage?
My 90 has 4 black rod/***** in the clear instrument cluster. The left most three I have figured out - clock, system check display, odometer trip reset. But the 4th one is missing and I have found an 80 in a junkyard with it in place. What is this for on my 90? It is clearly there in the owner's manual, but neither labelled nor identified. Neither is the odometer reset **** next to it, so lack of explanation is puzzling.

It's just a cap to cover the access hole for the fuel gauge adjustment potentiometer. Also answered here https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2843507
