Touch up paint for my 90q

Where did you find your paint code on the vehicle? I have looked virtually everywhere on my 20V and cannot find it and the dealer can't use the VIN on this age vehicle. It's not in any of the usual spots - door jambs, door edges, engine bay, near firewall, trunk opening (where strangely the tire pressures are), etc. I've looked diligently.

It printed on the VAG (audi) option code sticker and located in the trunk, under the carpet somewhere

Thanks for the quick replies. I'll check right now while the trunk is empty before it becomes my daily and I have a rescue pack, tools to help others and other random deitris bouncing around back there - heh.
The car is a nice light gold and Yoda called it Bamboo but for some reason the "scratch" paint site calls it "Bambus" so still refining info...

Copy that - Yoda's essentially handed me approximately 10 hours of my life that I did NOT have to spend tracking down oddments and bits on this vehicle and guiding my wrenching. Amazing. And you guys were spot on the paper build sheet is taped to the body behind my spare. I'll make a photocopy of it and keep that in the paperwork perpetually away from harm's way in the car's folder. The Gold is a really rare color, probably not many still on the road.
Ginster Yellow was another uncommon color.
Bambus Metallic LY1Z/U2
1993 was the last year it was offered so it's possible a B4 somewhere
with that color exists. I'd love to have a B4Q in gold.
Mine is one of the most popular, Crystal Silver but I like it.
