audi 80 2.3 quattro crankcase breather cleaning
hi lad I have problem with my audi 80 2.3 20 v Quattro (91) I m replaceing all sensors, and while at it I replace crankcase breather how do I clean all **** out off bottom where it joins crankcase I been advised to back wash it with petrol and then change oil any one done this if so please advice me before I put new pipe on it many thanks gaz

I would not advise the use of gasoline to clean where it could contaminate the oil. I would only wipe away any oil that you find while changing the vent. It is normal for oil to be inside the crankcase vent due to its function of capturing oily air to be burned in the engine.

no its not dumb question , if you look to right of engine it s towards bk low down, I hope that helps or do search on google for it I found it easy, the pipe that comes from it either gets blocked up or colapises if you change pipe clean out the connecting pipe that runs along bk engine because mine was blocked solid as well

My idle stablizer valve has a weak hose (the bottom, angled hose) is weak and collapsing on itself and the car is doing some slight bucking on accelerating and has some stuttering in 1st gear when taking off from a stop
