Default Vag405 Scan Tool
I own a 1997 Audi A6 quattro and plan on buying this scan tool from amazon. Is it worth it and is it compatible with my car?

I just bought an Innova brand 3150 scan tool for like $130 through wally worlds website. Works great for grabbing codes and resetting the MIL. Already diagnosed and fixed the reason why my MIL was on(worn out 02 sensor). Of course you can only read codes and reset the MIL with this one(it reads ABS and SRS codes for domestic vehicles).. But for those things it works perfectly, even takes freeze frames of problems so you can check them out on your computer.

you could buy an original vag-com for $300
or
Chinese replica for $20
to do the same thing
