Upper Strut Bearing Replacement

I believe smooth=down; indentations=up
the three indentations are to clear the three bolts protuding downward from the top of the strut-tower. It should make sense when you look at it. BE SURE TO POSITION THE THREE INDENTATIONS ON TOP OF the BEARING RING TO BE DIRECTLY UNDER THE THREE BOLTS HOLDING THE STRUT RUBBER BUSHING.
