Convertible Top Issue B7 S4
Hey guys,
I am hoping someone can help point me in the right direction...
I have a 2007 Audi S4 Cab with about 42,000 miles on it. About a month ago I brought my car into Audi to have the box in the trunk fixed (to make the convertible top box go up and down with the handle). Ever since I did I have had a nightmare with my top. First the Relay & Motor went (while in for servicing). I assumed this was the dealerships fault but was only able to get them to split the cost of fixing it.
Now about 4 weeks later I am hearing extra wind noise by the top right latch when closed and about a week after that, I started to hear metal parts rolling around behind the plastic trim where the manual latch keyhole is. The parts I can hear roll all the way from the left to right like a bunch of loose nuts/bolts. Also the soft top light and beeping goes on and off randomly with the items rolling around in there.
Any ideas would be amazing!
Does anyone have any idea how to get into behind the trim pieces so I can try and figure this out?
