Over time your wipers start moving slower and start to skip until the linkage freezes up. Occasionally, simply replacing wiper blades is not enough to keep your windshield reliably clean.
If the transmission or linkage is damaged, your wiper action may slow or begin skipping, until eventually the motor spins freely, ceasing wiper arm movement entirely.
Changing the windshield wiper transmission allows for a secure connection between the motor and wipers, giving you peace of mind that your Audi is safe and reliable.
