Headroom compared to A3/S3?

Headroom compared to A3/S3?

I'm currently in the 2015 A3 and I'm seriously considering upgrading to the TTs. An issue on the track for me with the A3 is headroom with a helmet. At 6'1", its very tight, and I need to use the sunroof 'cavity' space with the helmet on.

My question is: Does the new TT/s have more interior headroom? Anyone sit in both that can give a comparison?

Duh! :-) thanks for the suggestion.

1006mm in the A3, 993mm in the TT.

So, TT has a bit less headroom.

That is without a sunroof in the A3 or the sportback (not sure what you were looking at). The A3 sedan in the U.S. has 927mm headroom. So you get about 3 more inches in the TT which should be enough for your helmet.
