After a long day of thinking I'm thinking of replacing my A7s current shifter with what the 2016 has. I didn't see too many videos on how to remove it, but it seems easy. In this video, the guy had to pry down a metal ring to take the shifter and boot off. Now how do pull it down? Is there a point in that ring where you pry it down or do you just pull it down wherever I want? Also how do I put it back up? Do I just make the ring bigger to get back to the original spot? All in all it seems pretty simple but If anyone has done this conversion please provide some help with this.
