2006 B7 s4 Navigation screen blacked out! NEED HELP

2006 B7 s4 Navigation screen blacked out! NEED HELP
Hey all,
I have an 06 s4 and just recently the nav/radio screen in the center console went BLACK. After some research and looking at it I hope its just wiring but I feel it might be the backlight. I can switch the navigation on and click onto the map and see a VERY faint picture of the map that would pull up for nav. Anyone have any insight on how to fix or should i just scrap it and get a new unit. I feel it might be the backlight and a somewhat easy fix.
