2016 A7 TDI Tire question...
Long story - my wife recently got a flat hundreds of miles from home, and eventually found an Audi dealership who replaced the defective OEM Conti ProContact (they couldn't explain why it went flat) with a ProContact Extreme, because there wasn't an OEM to be found the same day within shipping distance. So she had them install the odd tire, got home safely, and now we've driven about 1000 miles on unmatched tires.
Yesterday the car was at our local dealership for its 5000 mile routine maintenance, and I brought up the tire issue. The service manager was surprised to discover that the 2016 A7 TDI has "H" rated tires as OEM equipment, whereas the 2015 OEM tires are "Y" rated.
I don't feel comfortable driving this car on unmatched tires, and I'm concerned about the "H" rating for a car with this level of performance. And why did Audi downgrade from "Y" to "H" between 2015 and 2016?
Should I risk driving the the car on unmatched tires until I have to replace all 4?
Should I buy 1 OEM tire (if I can find one)?
Should I switch now to another brand? (Had good luck with Hankook on previous Audis). If so, what will be the effect on my warranty?
Any advice welcome.

A "H" rating is good for 130 MPH. I personally would drive with the unmatched set of tires as long as they have the same diameter.
Switching tire brands will not effect your warranty.

I also agree with OP and other comment that I would feel uncomfortable and will be against driving my car with unmatched set of tires. IT causes strain on the AWD system and its dangerous due to different speed ratings. I would get that unmatched tire removed and replaced with the same one on the other 3 wheels.
