Aftermarket Lightning Cable
Has anyone tried an aftermarket AMI cable?
I came across this on ebay and I like it because it's obviously cheaper but has a little bit more length.

I've also been wondering about just buying a cable that accepts any USB input.

After emailing them they suggest I buy this

but I don't want to do that sort of an option...I really think they are making a general statement about only Audi's 2013 and up. I'll find out soon enough.

yea I can't imagine it working for 13, but not 12. that's awesome it ships out of NY too.

That is true. Though over the weekend I was playing bluetooth audio then connected the cable...the audio stopped. Almost as if it is trying to initiate a connection through the cable, but it doesn't.
Just weird behavior. I think if I sit down and plug my phone first thing it may not do this. I'll play around with it some more.
