A6 C4 A/C Blower Part number
Hello,
I have an Audi A6 C4 1.8 year 1995. i'm looking the part number of the blower fan (used for air conditioning and heater) as mine makes noises when it's on.

Part number 4A0959101A for LHD cars. Available though the usual suspects on-line.
I don't think we got the 1.8 here in the USA with the A6 C4. Fan motor would be correct though for LHD.
If you happen to be driving a RHD car the part number is 4A2819015A

I've got a RHD car. does the RHD blower differs from the LHD blower? or they're interchangeable? I cant find the 4A2819015A on ebay, but i do find the 4A0959101A. that's why i'm wondering.

My understanding is the LHD and RHD blower motors are different. I don't know that for a fact. I've not worked on a RHD to say for sure.
There is a RHD motor on Ebay in England for 59 pounds new. Don't know what part of the world you are in..see if the fellow will ship to you.

I'm in Mauritius. I did find that motor but it doesn't ship to Mauritius, and when contacting the seller, i'm getting "We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is unable to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing."

Pretty sure they are different. The A/C box would have to be set over on the other side with a RHD car..so the fan unit must be different.
I saw that weird answer too when you try and contact the seller.
You could just buy it and offer to pay via pay-pal. On the listing it says he ships internationally. If he wont ship it to you the sale gets cancelled and you get your money back.

Hanish..I was able to get a message over to the seller on ebay and yes they will ship to you. Here is the contact information from Andy at the store. I would call them and they will tell you for sure about what part fits and get it for you:

Our electronic catalogues don’t work with Reg numbers and use the VIN number to connect straight to the factory that built your car so we can get the correct part for you.
