Default ET for park aid parts

Hi all,

I would like to have new front/rear sensors, with cabling, buzzer and ECU+ front/rear camera with wiring and all, but Im not able to find the exact part numbers. I have checked ELSA as well as partsbase, but there are always multiple ETs for ECUs and Im not able to find the one that could hold the sensors + camera.. does that mean there are 2 ECUs? one for sensors and one for the cameras?

does anyone retrofitted the front/rear cameras and could share his findings?

I have found some complete sets on kufatec, but they both (sensors set and camera set) have their ECU and I dont want to buy 2 ECUs when only one is needed (at least I think)

thanks a lot!

The parking distance sensor system and camera systems are independent from one another. When it comes to the camera system, there are two systems within that as well. The one that only utilizes a rear view camera only uses an analog camera. The system that uses either a front and rear only or front, rear, and two side cameras is a digital system that uses a completely different control module.

hmm, are You sure? cause Ive read somewhere, that the sensors and the camera have to be connected together, because the camera also needs to know the distance from object to work properly.

and I just got an email from my audi dealer that I can use the same ECU for both, but I know that they are not always correct

Can you Message me a link to an autoscan of your car so I can see what modules you already have and I can give you a better idea of what you need.

thanks a lot for all the effort Mrclopec

to be honest, I do not have anything currently, as it got all damaged. so no sensors, no cabling and no ECU. so I need to replace the whole PDC (rear and front), and would like to add the front/rear cams while the car will be at the dealer.

but hopefully I will be able to do the scan and send the output.

thanks again!
