Will 18" B8 wheels fit on A7?
I'm looking to get a winter setup for my new (to me) 2012 A7 Prestige since I have a feeling the 20" summer tires won't do so well in a New England winter. I found a good deal on a used set of 18" B8 S4 rims with snow tires, however I'm not entirely sure if they'll fit the A7.
Does anyone know if they will fit?
I believe they will. In my experience, most (if not all) of the current series A4 and A6/7 wheels are interchangeable and very similar offset. (The old 2000-2005 allroads and A8 are a notable exception)
Take a look at A6 C7 forum - many there have gone from 19 to 18 for winter. The A6 C7 uses on inch smaller tires than the A7, but every post i have seen is that A6 C7 and A7 wheels are interchangeable.
For my A7, I use 20" in the summer and 19" OEM A7 wheels for winter. This winter, I actually followed the ancient advice of using a narrower/taller winter tire: from 255/40-19 to 245/45-19.
