Tell me why I should NOT buy a TDI A7/S7/RS7
I am aware of the Notice of Violation issued by the EPA on Nov2, 2015, concerning cheat software on the Gen II 3.0L V6 TDI engine installed in certain model years of the Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg, and the Audi S4, S6, S7, and Q5, etc.
Audi USA "voluntarily" included ALL model years from 2009 - 2016.
I have read numerous CarFax reports, and the laundry list of in warranty problems. Some minor, others major problems. Even one Lemon Law buy back as result of engine overhaul.
Your help will be of great value in influencing my decision to purchase or not to purchase a pre-owned A7.
Come one, come all!
Cheers, AutoAnsGuy
PS: In 2011, I purchased a new VW Jetta SportWagen 2.0L TDI with DSG dual clutch trans. Actually, I really LIKE this car.
As previously mentioned, the S7 and RS7 have 8-cylinder gas engines, not TDI diesel.

Since we have gotten that minor detail taken care of, do you have any CONSTRUCTIVE reason(s) I should NOT buy A7?
Thanks,

Guess you didn't read my post where I stated I am fully aware of the STOP SALE of the Gen II 3.0L TDI equipped Audi, Touareg, and Porsche. EPA issued a "Notice of Violation" for the 3.0L TDI on Nov 2, 2015.
The STOP SALE from Audi AG will eventually be lifted. I was asking about any problems that current owners are having w/A7 TDI.
I will be correcting my post to delete S7 and RS7. Happy now?
Actually, problems are problems regardless of the car being S7 or RS7.
Do you wish to contribute any constructive information about problems?
