Default Sport pedal DIY guide?

I recently purchased a set of OEM S7 pedals which I plan on installing on my A7, but I can't seem to find a DIY guide for this model. The accelerator and brake pedals should be pretty straightforward, but the "dead" pedal not so much. It almost looks like I need to remove the lower part of the dashboard, because there is a cover which blocks the little metal hook on top of the pedal. I can take a picture, but if anybody here has done it they would know exactly what I am talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you send me a link to where you bought them and an image of what they look like?

I bought the dead pedal from eBay for $37... It was an auction and nobody else bid on it.

I bought the other two pedals from ebay Germany and they have not arrived yet. The cost was about $90 with shipping.

I will snap some pics when I get a chance.

Thank you, I already looked at these threads, but unfortunately there are no instructions. Also, I believe the A7 is slightly different where the clip on top of the dead pedal is behind the dashboard cover. I really ought to take some pics because it is hard to explain.

I just installed mine Devil Inside and the dead pedal was a real pain. What I did was cut the top of the pedal right below the clip. That allowed me to pry the pedal all the way up and remove it. Then I removed the top part of the clip from where it attaches to the dash.

Installing the new one was just as hard. In ended up installing the clip part first. There was more flexibility then I thought there would be and I was able to pry up the bottom of the side dashboard panel and slid the new pedal in, then it was easy enough to push the pins in on the base of the pedal. All in all it took about 30 minutes of sweating and cursing.

I wanted to bump this thread to see if anybody has seen any new tutorials or DIY guides for this. I plan on stopping at the dealer sometime tomorrow and I am hoping to be able to pick the brain of one of the techs regarding the installation.
