'98 A6 Quattro camber alignment issue...
It appears the bushings are pretty bad (157,000 miles) and my trusted mechanic said I will need to install control arms. I'm not sure at this point if I want to spend the $$$ to install new control arms yet. The car's value is not that much and it's basically a local car for around town these days with an occasional jaunt 150 miles away to our other home.
The steering wheel was pretty off center so I took it back to Sears to have them address that and this time the best the tech could do was -1.4° on the passenger side camber. Everything else alignment wise is as good as can be with nothing even close to being near the specified max range.
Will the -1.4° camber cause any real issues with tire wear with the max being -1.3°?
