A6 C4 valve covers- any sources?

A6 C4 valve covers- any sources?
So when I replaced my temp sensor the other day, I happened to notice that it looks like both of my valve covers have cracks across the top face... is that common? Anyone know a source? Mine are the dark gray plastic/composite type. Ebay doesn't have any...

The plastic valve covers are prone to cracks as they age. I think they are a "double wall" and if not leaking..you are okay.
The bone yard is a good place to check..look for an early 12v V6..like 1995 and older. I would also put out a WTB in the classifieds. Shokan Coachworks, Audi parts 1-800-All-Audi will have them..and they could be pricey from them.
I found mine in the junk-yard. My original valve cover were getting cracks too. I doubt they had ever been removed since new.

Rusty- I think the driver's side may be leaking a bit. I have some oil in that area coming from somewhere, and it may be the crack...I will further investigate. I have a pick and pull just down the road, and was looking for an excuse to go there..

I also have a cracked valve cover, it wasnt leaking yet.
