Any way to judge if 96 A6 Quattro will pass MA emissions inspection from IL?
I'm thinking of buying an old A6 that's supposed to be in great condition so I can drive from St Louis to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Ideally I'd like to keep the car once I'm home, but don't know if there's any way of passing the MA state emissions test.
Is there some kind of equivalent test the car can 'take' while in the Midwest to see whether or not this is a fool's errand of bringing a car to the state where it can't possibly be legal to drive?
Any advice much appreciated.
