Dipstick tube replacement

Dipstick tube replacement
The orange plastic dipstick tube on my 03 TT roadster broke when I reinserted the dipstick. I think most of the pieces fell on the ground. How much trouble is it to replace the dipstick tube myself?

I ended up replacing the upper and lower tube on mine. The upper portion made of plastic that breaks down from the heat, the lower part is metal. The lower tube is more difficult to remove. I pulled the oil pan on mine to make sure no plastic parts ended up in the pickup sump. From there I drove the lower tube out, and attached the plastic upper tube to it. Not a terrible amount of work and found it was good insurance to go the extra mile.
