ECM - Immobilizer screwed up
A brief history,
Car was running absolutely fine, my company had a chauffer drive me around for 2 months for work, dint touch the car since dint need to...
When tried to start it , realized battery felt dead... it did crank .. but no juice..
Tried Jump Starting .. no effect..
Got a new battery .. still the same.. 150 bucks
Took it to a Garage ... they said fuel pump shot since there is no fuel reaching the engine... Replaced fuel Pump = 800 bucks..
Still wouldnt start... recommended new ECM = 400 bucks...
Took it to a dealer to program = 160 bucks...
STILL Dint start ... DEALER Says ECM not adapted to Immobilizer .. Advice to replace Instrument Cluster = 1600 bucks .... i refused ...
SO AFTER SPending 1500 bucks on the car.. i decided it was enough...
Is there any cheaper alternative to get this done ?
I live in the Dallas area, Texas...
I am at my wits end , and dont know what to do, i love the car and hate to see it stripped for parts or being given away for charity....
Any help appreciated...
