Engine Ticking Noise???
My engine makes this noise at low revs. I'm thinking this has something to do with the timing chain, but I'm not sure. Other symptoms are that the oil light is always on and there is a slow oil loss (possibly burning or a seal). Guy I bought it off of said he replaced the timing chain and the turbo.. I wouldn't trust the guy who worked on it because there are many parts that are loose like vaccum hoses. Here is a link to the noise.

Use a mechanic's stethescope to find the exact spot on the engine, head or block where the noise is coming from. If on the block, remove oil pan to make sure all connecting rods are tight with all bolts intact.
