Looking for an Avus Silver TT to buy.
lower mileage/ less abused preferred.
Previous owner of an '01 225 here, looking to get the one car that wish i still owned.

Don't recall that color being offered. Certainly not in the early years as I think the only silver was Lake Silver (I owned two of those). Was that the silver offered in the ALMS edition? Silver ALMS is very rare as most were red.

Thanks for the clarification.
To have any hope of finding one, I'd do a national search on cars.com and autotrader at least once a week and be patient. You quest is about the same as finding a Mk 1 roadster with black baseball seats - very rare so a national search is required.

Yes, i posted with the hope that someone has an eye out can could point at something that I have missed. I am searching nationwide....not alaska/hawaii - but with low enough miles, i would reconsider.

Try Canada: 100 cars were sold there 50 silver and 50 Red. US dollar goes much further these days.$1.00 CDN about 0.75 USD.
In November I found one in Ottawa,Ontario,159,000 Kilometers (or 99,000 miles) asking $8,950 and another in Sherbrooke,Quebec high K's,
280,000 kilometers Stage 2 Tune.
Both Avus silver over Brilliant lipstick red leather.
