Default Good tool brand for rear brake piston wind in?

I want to replace pads, discs on my 2003 quattro TT. I see a lot of stuff from China that I don't trust. Short of a Snap-on kit are there reputable western hemisphere manufacturers you could recommend? I used to be a professional mechanic with lots of Snap-on tools so I am used to good tools. Prefer not to borrow one at the car parts places either. If kit fits other cars also that's OK.

Thanks,
AUDItotium

Baum Tool Co. of Florida sells a nice kit. That said, the Harbor Freight Chinese junk kit has served me well for over a dozen brake jobs now on my VW, Audi & GM vehicles.

Yes, the Harbor Freight kit works fine, I've used it several times. Unless you're a pro, it should be all you need.
