Drain 6-speed trans and bevel box

Drain 6-speed trans and bevel box
I have my trans out and want to change the oil. It grinds a little going into third.
Do I drain the trans and then the bevel box but only need to fill both through the trans?
Will use Redline MT-90. Any other suggestions for additives? It has 150K on it.

Drain at both transmission and Transfer Case (Bevel Gear Transfer Case) & Fill both via the transmission fill access hole.
Note, Replace the fill/inspection plug/locking bolt with a new part. Don't cheap out and reuse your old one.
