2002 Audi tt doors won't unlock without hitting the handle first.
If I lock doors on my 2002 Audi TT Quatro, they will not unlock. Both doors have the same problem. I hear the doors unlock but can not open from outside or inside. If I hit the door handle while unlocking with key FOB the will unlock. Doors won't unlock with key either.

yes, they were working then both quit at the same time. The alarm that chirps when locking doors is very weak as well. Not sure if that is related or is it a mechanical issue.
