02 audi TT convertible malfunction

02 audi TT convertible malfunction
My elec top only works going up. I changed all 3 relays and the switch but still doesn't work going down. what might it be ?

The motor doesn't run at all?
I don't have the manual here with me, but there is a switch in the top left of the windshield latch socket that might be giving a false "closed" signal. If that was the case, your driver's window should go down/up a hair when you open/close the door, regardless of the latch status.
Sorry I'm at work. Changed my 2001 to gas-assist manual a couple of years ago when the hydraulics leaked into the back carpet. Love it as a manual.
