Default Air bag light
Oops, this is for a 2001 Quatteo TT conv.
Light comes on at start, flickers for awhile then goes off. Repair idea?

The air bag modules are known to fault out on start up in cold temps after they get older. Requires a new module to repair. They don't usually reset themselves however. I bought a tool on eBay to reset mine. Replacement is $$$$.

Thanks for the info it is very cold here. What is the tool you bought on Ebay?

The AudiWorld is a great one!
This has worked to reset mine and others. The problem continues however on very cold start ups and has to be reset again.

Yes. But it is an Audi source like you mentioned. Thus, not for the general public.

I have one of those OBD devices that read the codes. Will it work for resetting the air bag light?
