Loss of Engine Power

Hi! I own a 2001 Audi TT Quattro Roadster. A problem has recently occurred 1 week ago. When the rpm's fall below 1500 and I push in the clutch/no gear is selected, the engine cuts power. After it dies the I have to wait a while then start it again. Does anyone have any ideas to what is wrong? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Sounds like a possible clogged fuel filter issue. Just a guess, but if the car starts right up then dies when driving or accelerating it is likely a fuel issue.

Ok, thanks! I took it into an Audi dealership, they are going to run a diagnostic and figure out what the problem is. Thanks!

Could be cam position sensor. You should look into Ross Tech diagnostic tool, saves you from trips to dealer to figure out waht's wrong.
