No 'Boost' & Hissing noise...
Hi,
Can anyone help?
I've not had my TT long, its a 2004 Mk1. 225.
It doesn't seem to have anything like the same 'push you back in your seat' effect as my daily drive Passat 2.0 TDi 140??
In fact, it has a symptom possibly. Everytime I drive up a fairly steep hill next to my house in 2nd gear, all of a sudden from inside the car I hear a fairly loud hissing noise SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Then the car rapidly looses power, so much so that I'm now in 1st gear and really struggling.
The road / hill isn't massively steep or anything.... ;(
Can anyone recommend anything for me to check?
I have VCDS and so far its not showing any faults??

Can anyone suggest anything?
Car's booked into garage for them to look into whether any hoses are split or any intercooler damaged etc.
In order to do this the bumper has to come off and this alone will cost a fair bit.
