Coolant drain plug

Just went to drain and replace the coolant in my 1989 100CD Avant and couldn't find the drain plug. D'oh! Can anyone supply photos or directions? Any other hints will also be welcome.

Clarification

Sorry all. My previous post sounds like I may have lost the drain plug, but in fact, I simply can't find its location on the radiator to undo it.

I've ordered a workshop manual for the 5000 (known as the 100CD here) -- $5 in the US but $35 to deliver! -- but it doesn't arrive until mid-May to mid-June.

It has been a long time since I worked on a 5000. Assuming you have the 2.3 five cylinder engine I don't think there is a block drain. Coolant is removed from the radiator by taking the lower radiator hose clamp off the radiator and dropping the coolant.

You can re-fill with distilled water..run the engine and drop the water again from the lower radiator hose..then repeat to get all the old coolant out. Then refill with a 50/50 mix of your favorite anti-freeze and water.

That sounds like the answer, thank you. And I don't feel such a twit for not finding something that doesn't exist! I have bought 10 litres of coolant (pre-mixed) and I'm ready to go.
