Okay, so very basic I know but its a problem for me in my barely inclined driveway. For starters the Emergency Brake cable is shot and multiple times with the factory jack ive had this car fall almost on me because the car decides to roll slightly backwards since i have no E brake. I plan on bringing this car to my friends level garage to fill the ATF. Whats the best way of getting this car on four jack stands? I bought the jack adapter plate for the factory jacking points but where is the safest bet to place four jack stands since they clearly wont fit into the jack location?
A little late to the conversation, but here is what I did. Went to Lowes and got a wood dowel rod to match the diameter of the plastic housing. Measure the dowel length you will need (I think it's 3 and a 1/4 inch long) and cut 4 dowels out of it. . I had a U jack from my earlier german vehicles and it works great. Lift the U Jack with the dowel in the socket and pop the jackstand under it. it works great and cheap to boot.
